Dr. Appt

I had my third appointment with my weight loss specialist this week. And the official weigh in was 189.

Woo-hoo! 180's on my scale. At least for one day, then I got sick and couldn't stomach my shakes or exercise for 3 days. So I put a couple of those pounds back on. But they're mostly water weight which should come off today now that I'm back on my program. The fact is the last time I weighed 190 was when I got pregnant with Emma, nearly 7 years ago. So that's 36 lbs lost and we're cruising up on 40 lbs! What a nice birthday present that would be. Yep, that's right my birthday is a week from today and I will be 27. My birthday present to myself is not having to spend another birthday over 200 lbs. Have a great week everyone and I promise I'll post a new picture this week.

And finally...

GO CARDINALS! Superbowl here we come! My dad told me that if you had bet $20 at the beginning of the season that the Cardinals would be in the Superbowl you would be collection $200,000 today. Crazy, huh?

Wahoo! Good for you! Are you doing anything fun for your birthday? Turns out the whole state of VA gets it off for like "Lee-Jackson" day or something like that-we'll be celebrating for you! DArrell and I have been following the football games (shocking, I know), and I cannot BELIEVE the CArdinals are going to the superbowl--what is this world coming to anyway? Hope you have a fantabulous week and can't wait to see the pic!:)

Amy, that's amazing! Congrats and happy birthday. It seems like just yesterday we were graduating high school. Okay, so I'm being overly dramatic and we aren't actually considered old yet, but still. It's crazy how fast time flies.

Why is losing weight so hard, but gaining weight so easy? Especially after kids. Man, I hate how long it is taking me to lose the weight that my doctor "suggested" I lose. You are amazing. How are you losing it so quickly? I watch what I eat and exercise five days a week and still the scale hasn't budged in almost two weeks.

Congrats! I am so glad you finally have found some thing that is working for you. I am excited to start losing weight again but most of all exersie again since I haven't been able to. I didn't know I would miss it so much. I hope you get those few extra pounds off for your birthday what a great present!
